Gordon Advanced Motorists
Gordon Advanced Motorists (GAM) is an affiliate group of IAM RoadSmart.
Our aim is to improve road safety through improvement of driver and rider standards. We achieve this by preparing our Associate members to pass the IAM RoadSmart Advanced Driver and Rider assessment.
What we offer
GAM provides instruction and coaching in both the IAM Roadsmart Advanced Driver and Advanced Rider courses. You will be paired with one of our enthusiastic and highly skilled Observers who will take you for a series of one to one driving or riding sessions in preparation for the Advanced Test.
Drivers and riders who have already achieved an Advanced Test pass can request to be taken for further sessions to keep their skills up to scratch.
Social runs are held throughout the year and are organised by our members.

Buy your course from IAM Roadsmart
The Advanced Driver course costs £204 and the Advanced Rider course costs £219.

Arrange to meet your Observer
GAM will pair your with an Observer who will contact you to arrange the first meet. Observed sessions can take place at any mutually agreed date and time that suits both.
